Amazon RDS allows up to four storage modifications per day
Amazon RDS now permits up to four storage modifications per database instance within a 24-hour window, removing the six-hour cooldown period between operations. This change enhances agility for scaling storage or adjusting performance, particularly during unexpected workload spikes. The feature is automatically available for instances running PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MySQL, Db2, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server in all AWS commercial and GovCloud Regions.
