Amazon WorkSpaces Core Managed Instances now support NVIDIA Blackwell GPU-powered G7 instances
Amazon WorkSpaces Core Managed Instances have added support for Graphics G7 instances, powered by NVIDIA RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs and Intel Xeon 6 processors. These instances offer up to 2.1X better performance for demanding graphics and AI-assisted design workloads compared to previous generations. Featuring 32 GB GDDR7 GPU memory and faster bandwidth, G7 instances enable larger 3D scenes and models for professional applications like CAD/CAM and video editing. They are currently available in select AWS regions, including US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon), and Europe (Spain).

These instances deliver significantly improved performance for graphics-intensive and AI-assisted design workflows, boasting up to 2.1X better performance than G6 instances and 2.67X faster memory bandwidth with 32 GB GDDR7 GPU memory per GPU. Six instance sizes are available, supporting Linux and Windows, with initial availability in US East (N. Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (Oregon), and Europe (Spain).
