Artifact Registry Connector repositories proxy upstream sources

infragcpengineer
feature

Artifact Registry now offers Feature Connector repositories that act as proxies for upstream sources, without caching artifacts. This enhances auditability and supports environments with strict third-party policies against caching. The feature is detailed in the Connector repositories overview documentation.

Features (1)
  • Artifact Registry

Connector repositories act as proxies for upstream sources. All requests to the repository are proxied to the upstream source and no artifacts are cached in Artifact Registry. This configuration allows for full auditability of upstream sources and supports cases where third-party policies prevent artifact caching. For more information, see Connector repositories overview .
