Google Cloud's Managed Apache Airflow receives new features and improved resilience
Google Cloud has launched a new release for its Managed Service for Apache Airflow (Cloud Composer) as of September 2, 2026. This update introduces Out-of-Memory (OOM) event logs for Gen 3 environments to aid troubleshooting and enhances Airflow task resilience against Kubernetes connection issues. It also improves the web server update process during environment upgrades and makes new Airflow builds and images available for both Gen 2 and Gen 3 environments. The rollout to all regions is in progress, so availability may vary.
