AWS Cost and Usage Report 2.0 allows table configuration updates
AWS Cost and Usage Report 2.0 now supports updating data table configurations through the console and SDK/CLI. This allows customers to adopt new CUR 2.0 features without deleting and recreating existing exports. Previously, changes required manual deletion and recreation, disrupting ETL jobs. This update enables direct modification of preferences for future scheduled deliveries.

AWS Cost and Usage Report 2.0 can now have its data table configurations updated via the AWS Management Console and SDK/CLI. This feature allows customers to modify existing exports to use new CUR 2.0 capabilities without needing to delete and recreate them.

Previously, customers had to delete and recreate CUR 2.0 exports to adopt new schema features like additional columns or finer granularity. This update allows direct modification of table configurations, enabling customers to adopt new capabilities and receive updated exports from the next scheduled delivery.
