AWS Deadline Cloud adds persistent storage for Service-Managed Fleets

infraawsengineer
feature

AWS Deadline Cloud now supports persistent storage for Service-Managed Fleets (SMF) by attaching Amazon EBS volumes to workers, allowing data and environments to persist across worker lifecycle events. This enhancement reduces worker startup times and speeds up job completion for users of the visual effects and rendering service. Persistent storage is available in all AWS Regions where Deadline Cloud is offered and is priced similarly to existing EBS volumes.

  • Persistent storage for Service-Managed Fleets
  • Flexible configuration and pricing
Features (1)
  • Persistent storage for Service-Managed Fleets

AWS Deadline Cloud now supports persistent storage for Service-Managed Fleets by attaching Amazon EBS volumes to workers. This preserves Conda environments, Perforce workspaces, and asset collections across worker restarts, reducing startup time and improving job completion speed.

Enhancements (1)
