Azure Network Policy Manager (NPM) for Linux nodes in AKS will end support on September 30, 2028. Customers must migrate AKS clusters running Linux nodes from NPM to Cilium Network Policy before this date to avoid disruptions. Cilium offers Kubernetes-native policies, Layer 7 filtering, FQDN filtering, and an eBPF-based architecture for improved performance, scalability, and security. Impacted resources can be viewed via Azure Resource Graph.
