Azure Spring Apps Basic, Standard, Enterprise plans to be retired March 31, 2028

Microsoft is retiring the Azure Spring Apps Basic, Standard, and Enterprise plans on March 31, 2028, after a 3-year sunset period starting March 17, 2025. New customers cannot sign up after March 17, 2025, and existing instances will be inaccessible post-retirement. Azure Container Apps and Azure Kubernetes Service are recommended alternatives for migration.

    The Azure Spring Apps Basic, Standard, and Enterprise plans will enter a sunset period on March 17, 2025, and will be fully retired by March 31, 2028. After this date, these plans will no longer be supported, and instances will become inaccessible. New customers will be unable to sign up for these plans after March 17, 2025.

    To ensure continued performance, scalability, flexibility, and cost-efficiency, customers are advised to migrate their workloads to Azure Container Apps or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Microsoft offers migration tools, expert resources, and technical support to assist with this transition by the March 31, 2028 deadline.
