Cloud Load Balancing: Reserve BYOIP IPv6 Addresses
Cloud Load Balancing now allows reserving specific or auto-allocated bring-your-own-IP (BYOIP) IPv6 addresses for regional external passthrough Network Load Balancers. This feature ensures IPv6 addresses persist independently of the load balancer's lifecycle and allows promoting ephemeral BYOIP addresses to reserved static ones. The capability is currently in Preview, impacting engineers and architects managing network infrastructure.

- Cloud Load Balancing
For regional external passthrough Network Load Balancers, you can reserve specific or automatically allocated bring your own IP (BYOIP) IPv6 addresses before creating a load balancer, so that the IPv6 address persists independently of the load balancer's lifecycle. You can also promote an ephemeral BYOIP IPv6 address that is in use by a load balancer to a reserved static IP address.
