Cloud Logging Introduces OpenTelemetry-based Telemetry API Export
Cloud Logging now supports exporting metrics, logs, and traces using the OpenTelemetry-based Telemetry API, providing an alternative to the Cloud Monitoring, Logging, or Trace APIs. This enhancement allows users more flexibility in how they manage and egress their telemetry data from GCP. The new capability is available starting with Ops Agent version 2.71.0. Affected users include developers and operators managing logging and monitoring configurations in Google Cloud.
