CloudWatch Dashboards Now Support Tags
Amazon CloudWatch dashboards now support tags, allowing users to organize, categorize, and control access to dashboards. This feature enables grouping by team, project, or environment, and supports attribute-based access control via IAM policies. The update enhances management and filtering capabilities for dashboards across all available AWS Regions at no additional cost.

- Tagging Support for CloudWatch Dashboards
Amazon CloudWatch now supports tagging for dashboards, enabling organization, categorization, and access control using key-value pairs. The PutDashboard API accepts an optional Tags parameter, and TagResource, UntagResource, and ListTagsForResource APIs now support dashboard ARNs for managing tags on existing dashboards.

CloudWatch dashboard tagging is available at no additional cost in all AWS Regions where Amazon CloudWatch is offered. It is also supported through AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure management.
