GitHub Copilot Business and Enterprise to Get Default Feature Policy
GitHub is introducing a new global default policy for managing generally available Copilot features and client capabilities within Business and Enterprise accounts. This policy allows administrators to pre-configure whether current and future eligible features are enabled, disabled, or delegated to organization administrators by default. The policy can be configured immediately through the 'AI Controls' page, and it will take effect on October 22. Existing explicit feature settings will be preserved, and preview features will remain opt-in.

GitHub Copilot Business and Enterprise administrators can now set a global default policy for generally available features. Options include enabling features by default, disabling them until admin approval, or allowing organizations to decide.
