securitygcpdeprecationengineer
deprecation

Google is deprecating write permissions from the `chronicle.readonly` OAuth scope for SecOps SIEM, effective January 25, 2027. This change will restrict the scope exclusively to read operations, impacting any existing workflows that use it for writing data. Users must update these workflows to utilize the broader `chronicle` OAuth scope to maintain write functionality.
