Oracle Database@AWS expands to 20 AWS Regions
Oracle Database@AWS is now available in eight additional AWS regions, bringing the total to twenty. This service allows customers to run Oracle Exadata systems within AWS data centers, enabling migration of on-premises Oracle Exadata and RAC applications. Customers in Europe, South America, and Asia Pacific can now leverage this for in-region data residency requirements, with setup managed via AWS Marketplace and the AWS Management Console.

Oracle Database@AWS has expanded its availability to eight new AWS Regions, including locations in Europe, South America, and Asia Pacific. This service provides access to Oracle Exadata systems located within AWS data centers.

Customers can now migrate on-premises Oracle Exadata and Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) applications to AWS, particularly benefiting those with in-region data residency needs in the newly added regions.
- Setup via AWS Marketplace and Console
To utilize Oracle Database@AWS services, customers must request a private offer from Oracle through the AWS Marketplace and use the AWS Management Console for database setup.
