SageMaker Studio notebooks support new G7 GPU instances
Amazon SageMaker Studio notebooks now support G7 instances, which feature NVIDIA RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell GPUs and offer up to 4.6x higher AI inference performance than G6 instances. These instances are ideal for deploying conversational AI, scaling video streaming, and large-scale data processing. G7 instances are currently available in select US regions for SageMaker Studio users.

Amazon SageMaker Studio notebooks now support G7 instances, powered by NVIDIA RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs. These instances provide significantly improved AI inference performance compared to previous generations and are suitable for various AI and data processing workloads.

G7 instances deliver up to 4.6x AI inference performance over G6, featuring custom Intel Xeon 6 processors, 7x EFA-enabled network bandwidth, and 1.5x higher FP16 Flops. This enables lower latency for applications such as conversational assistants, content generation, and recommendation engines.
