Unity Catalog ABAC GRANT Policies Support More ML Service Types in Beta
Databricks Unity Catalog's ABAC GRANT policies now support additional securable types, extending dynamic privilege grants beyond models to include model services, model provider services, Model Context Protocol (MCP) services, and agent services. This enhancement allows organizations to streamline access control and improve governance for a broader range of ML assets within Unity Catalog. These expanded capabilities, which grant privileges based on governed tags, are currently available in Beta.

- Unity Catalog ABAC GRANT policies expand to more ML service types
Unity Catalog's Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) GRANT policies, which dynamically grant privileges based on governed tags, now support model services, model provider services, Model Context Protocol (MCP) services, and agent services. Previously, these policies were only available for models. All newly supported types are in Beta.
