Amazon EC2 I7i instances, featuring 5th Gen Intel Xeon processors and AWS Nitro SSDs, are now available in the AWS Europe (Paris) region. These instances offer improved compute and storage performance, making them ideal for I/O intensive and latency-sensitive workloads. They are available in eleven sizes and provide up to 100Gbps of network bandwidth.

Storage-optimized Amazon EC2 I7i instances, powered by 5th Gen Intel Xeon Processors and 3rd generation AWS Nitro SSDs, are now available in the AWS Europe (Paris) region. These instances deliver enhanced compute and storage performance compared to the previous generation.
- Improved storage performance and capacity
I7i instances offer up to 45TB of NVMe storage with significant improvements in real-time storage performance, lower storage I/O latency, and reduced latency variability over I4i instances. They also support torn write prevention for up to 16KB block sizes.
- Suitable for demanding workloads
These instances are designed for I/O intensive and latency-sensitive workloads requiring high random IOPS performance and real-time access to small to medium datasets on x86 architecture.
- Variety of instance sizes and network bandwidth
I7i instances come in eleven sizes, including bare metal options, and provide up to 100Gbps of network bandwidth and 60Gbps of EBS bandwidth.
