Features (2) ›
- New EC2 I8ge instances available in AWS GovCloud
Amazon EC2 I8ge instances, featuring AWS Graviton4 processors and third-generation AWS Nitro SSDs, are now available in AWS GovCloud (US-East, US-West) regions. These instances are designed for storage-optimized workloads demanding rapid local storage and high performance.
- High local storage capacity and network bandwidth
These instances provide up to 120TB of local NVMe storage and are available in eleven sizes, including metal options. They also deliver up to 180 Gbps of network bandwidth and 60 Gbps of dedicated EBS bandwidth for demanding applications.
Enhancements (1) ›
- Improved compute and storage performance with Graviton4
I8ge instances offer up to 60% better compute performance compared to previous Graviton2-based instances and up to 55% better real-time storage performance per TB. They also provide significantly lower storage I/O latency and reduced latency variability.
