Amazon EVS expands to additional AWS Regions
Amazon Elastic VMware Service (EVS) is now available in Asia Pacific (Seoul), Europe (Zurich), and Europe (Stockholm) Regions, offering more options for running VMware workloads on AWS. This expansion enables lower latency and supports data residency requirements for organizations migrating VMware environments to the cloud. It includes support for VCF 9.0 and 9.1, allowing users to leverage the latest VMware features.

- Amazon EVS now available in Seoul, Zurich, and Stockholm
Amazon Elastic VMware Service (EVS) has expanded its availability to the Asia Pacific (Seoul), Europe (Zurich), and Europe (Stockholm) Regions. This increases options for running VMware workloads on AWS. The service allows running VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) on EC2 bare-metal instances within an Amazon VPC.

This launch includes support for VCF 9.0 and 9.1, enabling users to leverage the newest VMware features, such as memory tiering. All existing Amazon EVS features remain supported.
