Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL now supports PostgreSQL 19 Beta 4 in its Database Preview Environment, enabling developers to evaluate the pre-release version. This update refines query performance and autovacuum management, with specific bug fixes like improved `pg_stat_autovacuum_scores` reporting and freeze-score scaling. Instances in the Preview Environment are retained for 60 days, with snapshots usable only within the environment. Users can import or export data via PostgreSQL dump and load functionality, with pricing based on the US East (Ohio) Region.
