AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery expands to six new regions

AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery (DRS) is now available in six additional AWS Regions, including Asia Pacific (Bangkok, Malaysia, New Zealand, Taipei), Canada West (Calgary), and Mexico (Central). This expansion makes the disaster recovery service available in 36 AWS Regions, offering enhanced resilience for critical applications and databases across a wider geographic footprint. The service supports recovery from various infrastructure sources like on-premises servers and other cloud environments, as well as enabling cross-region recovery for EC2 instances.
