Databricks Genie Agents Get GA APIs and Unity Catalog Function Tools
Databricks has made its Genie Agents' Agent mode APIs generally available, enabling programmatic integration into custom applications like chatbots and scheduled reports. Agent authors can now also attach both scalar and table-valued Unity Catalog functions as tools for Genie Agents. This enhancement allows developers to extend agent capabilities with governed data functions.
