Databricks has made its new MCP connectors generally available for Genie One and Genie Code, enabling these AI tools to interact with various enterprise applications. These connectors facilitate searching and acting on data within platforms like Google Drive, Microsoft 365, GitHub, and Slack to answer user questions. All connections are governed by Unity Catalog and Unity Gateway, ensuring secure authorization, policy enforcement, and audit logging. Each user authenticates individually, enhancing security by not sharing OAuth tokens.
