SageMaker notebook instances now offer general availability of Amazon EC2 P5en.48xl instances. These instances are equipped with H200 GPUs, providing increased GPU memory and bandwidth compared to previous generations.

The P5en instances utilize 4th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors and enhanced PCIe connectivity, offering up to 4x bandwidth between CPU and GPU. Additionally, improved EFA and Nitro technology reduce latency, enhancing collective communication for distributed training.
