AWS Elemental MediaPackage adds Dynamic Multiview for live video
AWS Elemental MediaPackage now offers Dynamic Multiview, a new server-side capability enabling content providers to compose multiple live video sources into viewer-selected tiled layouts on demand. This feature allows for multi-angle and personalized viewing experiences via standard HLS and DASH streams, eliminating the need for custom player development. Operating in the compressed domain, it combines individually encoded sources from AWS Elemental MediaLive without re-encoding. Dynamic Multiview supports AVC and HEVC codecs, DRM encryption, and SCTE-35 ad marker passthrough, and is available in all AWS regions where MediaPackage and MediaLive are present.
